TV ↔ Mobile Connection

Pair the guest's phone with the in-room TV using a QR code, then watch the TV screen respond to every tab change on mobile.

→Open the TV app — QR code appears automatically for Room 633
→Open the Mobile app → tap Scan → point at the TV QR code
→No camera? Tap Enter code from TV and type the 6-digit code shown under the QR

TV Monitoring & Power Control

Every provisioned TV reports its status; hotel staff can turn screens off and on remotely without restarting the in-room app.

→Open the Console → Guest Operations → Rooms — each TV shows online status and power state
→Press Off — the screen turns off while the TV app keeps running ✨
→Press On — the screen comes back and the status updates live ✨

Service Requests

Guest submits a housekeeping or room-service request; staff receives it instantly and tracks it through to completion.

→On mobile Services tab: tap Housekeeping → Request → add a note → Send Request

Content Management

Hotel staff adds or edits movies in the console; the TV app reflects changes immediately.

Hardware Installation

TV App Setup

Step 1
ProCentric Server
Set the head-end ProCentric server to pcr-tv.pages.dev (port 443, HTTPS).

XAIT Loaded
TV fetches /procentric/application/xait.xml and AUTOSTARTs the TV app.

Step 3
One-Time Setup
An unregistered TV shows a QR code — the installer scans it with a phone and picks the site and room in the console. The TV then applies the console's TV preset via IDCAP.

Step 4
Reboot & Launch
TV reboots to apply settings. On next boot the serial is recognised, the guest experience starts, and a resident agent keeps reporting status to the console.
